ColdType Publishing, LLC, the Clearwater-based printing firm acquired Living Here Magazine In April of 2024.

Previously owned by Pitzer Enterprises, the magazine is known for its celebration of people, heritage, and communities in Northeast Nebraska, Southeast South Dakota, and Northwest Iowa. The publication was founded in 2004 by Dale and Mary Ann Hoebelheinrich, of Yankton, South Dakota. 

Publishers, Luann & Scott Schindler, will publish the magazine quarterly to subscribers across the country. 

LuAnn contributed freelance content when the magazine was under the direction of the Hoebelheinrichs. She will work directly with the crops of freelancers, with include Brad Kellog of South Sioux City; Tim Trudell of Omaha; and Marita Placek of Lynch.
